Privacy Policy
Xi Project (Hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) recognizes the importance of the personal information of the customer and complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (hereinafter referred to as the “Personal Information Protection Act”). In addition, under the following privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Privacy Policy”), we will strive for appropriate handling and protection.
1. Definition of personal information
Personal information in this Privacy Policy is personal information as defined by the Personal Information Protection Act, and is information on living individuals, and shall mean any of the following.

3. Limitation of personal information use
The Company does not handle personal information beyond the scope necessary for the achievement of the purpose of use without the consent of the customers, except as permitted by the Personal Information Protection Act and other laws and regulations; provided, however, that this provision shall not apply if:
- Personal information use is based on the laws and regulations
- There is a case when personal information use is particularly necessary to improve public health or promote the sound upbringing of children, and it is difficult to obtain the customer’s consent.
- There is a case when it is necessary for a national organization or a local public entity or a person entrusted to cooperate to carry out affairs prescribed by laws and regulations, and there is a possibility that it may interfere with the execution of the affairs concerned by obtaining the consent of the customers
- There is a case when it is necessary to protect the life, body, or property of an individual, and it is difficult to obtain the customer’s consent
4. Change of purpose of personal information use
The Company may change the purpose of personal information use within the limit that is reasonably deemed to be related to the purpose of use before the change and shall notify or announce to the customer after the change.
5. Proper acquisition of personal information
The Company shall properly acquire personal information and do not acquire it by deception or other fraudulent means.
6. Provision to third parties
The Company does not provide personal information to a third party without the customer’s prior consent unless disclosure is permitted based on the Personal Information Protection Act and other laws and regulations; provided, however, that the following cases shall not be regarded as a provision to the third party:
- There is a case when personal information is provided upon a succession of business due to merger or other reasons
- There is a case when the Company entrust all or part of the handling of personal information to the third party that is necessary for achieving the purpose of use
7. Security management of personal information
The Company provides necessary and appropriate supervision to employees of the Company so that personal information is safely managed against risks such as loss, destruction, falsification, and leakage of personal information. In addition, when the Company entrusts all or part of the handling of personal information to the third party, the Company will conduct necessary and appropriate supervision so that the personal information will be managed safely at the outsourcing company.
8. Disclosure of personal information
When the Company is asked by the customer to disclose personal information based on the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act, the Company will disclose it without delay to the customer after confirming that the request is made by the principal ( If the personal information does not exist, notify that effect); provided, however, that this provision shall not apply to cases where the Company is not obliged to disclose such personal information under the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws and regulations. Please note that the Company will charge a fee (one hundred (100) USD (including tax) per case) to customers for disclosure and correction of personal information, and suspension of use.
9. Suspension, etc. of use of personal information
In cases where the Company is requested by a customer to discontinue using or to erase the personal information under the Protection Act on the ground that such personal information is being handled beyond the purpose of use published in advance or because it has been obtained by deception or other fraudulent means (Hereinafter referred to as the ” Suspension of use etc.”) and if it is found that the request has a reason, the Company shall, after confirming that it is a request from the principal, discontinue the use of or erase the personal information without delay and shall notify the customer to that effect; Provided, however, that this provision shall not apply to cases in which the Company is not obliged to make such discontinuance or erasure under the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws and regulations.
10. Correction, etc. of personal information
If the Company is requested correction, addition, or deletion (hereinafter referred to as “Correction, etc.”) of its contents based on the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act on the grounds that the user is not true about personal information, necessary surveys are conducted without delay within the range necessary to achieve the purpose of use after confirming that it is a request from the principal, and the contents of personal information are corrected based on the results and notify the customer of the effect (In cases where the Company decides not to make such a correction, etc., the Company shall notify the customer to that effect); Provided, however, that this provision shall not apply to cases in which the Company is not obliged to make such a correction, addition or deletion under the Act or other laws or regulations.
11. Handling of personal information as need special consideration
The Company shall acquire the consent required personal information of the user after obtaining the consent of the user in advance unless permitted by the Personal Information Protection Act and other laws and regulations.
12. Use of Cookies and other technologies
The Company’s services may use cookies and similar technologies. These technologies help the Company to understand the use of the Company’s services and contribute to service improvement. customers who want to invalidate Cookies can invalidate Cookies by changing the settings of the web browser.
